First, in the junior women?s skeet event, 18-year-old Emily Blount (Tucson, Ariz.) became the new World Champion, shooting a 71 total score to beat her next competitors by three targets. This is Blount?s second World Championships, after finishing in sixth at the World Clay Target Championships in 2005.

            You may remember that I purchased both your summer and standard weight gloves just before leaving for a June 2005 safari in South Africa.  I took both pair with me, and was glade to have them.  Standard weight in the cold mornings improved my comfort, and, of course, summer weight in the afternoon.  I learned that holding my rifle with the gloves eliminates hand fatigue.  I'm so glad I discovered your gloves at the NRA Annual Meeting in Orlando. 
            We are off to northern Saskatchewan for a black bear hunt the end of this May. .  You can be sure The Gun Gloves will be with me.

I was able to use my new gloves this past weekend on my family's annual Grouse Hunting Weekend and I must say that they are terrific. More than I had hoped fore. The fit was terrific and the fingers were finely cut. I didn't loose any touch whatsoever, and the were airy and light.I never once had my hands sweat up on me. They were also very durable as well. Great Product.

John, I have had a chance to to wear the new Winter Weight gloves. They are very well done, fit is great, they are warm and provide protection from the wind without the bulk. I felt like I  had good feel and control of the trigger and the gun in general. I wore them home from the range and they made very nice driving gloves as well. My overall impression was excellent. John , Just received my standard weight and winter weight gloves. Your recommendation to go up 1/2 size from summer to standard and another 1/2 from standard to winter was right on. They fit perfectly, just like my summer weight. That's a nice touch, putting and extra layer of material on the inside of the thumb where it bears on the latch. My other gloves always wore out there first. Thanks for a great product and great service.

John , Regarding your New Winter Weight glove you wrote me about. Your gloves are made too well! My last pair is still going strong. No holes, no rips, no real wear to speak of. So I'm afraid I am not ready to try another pair yet. I am SO impressed with your gloves. I wear them in rain frequently - which usually destroys other gloves. ( When other gloves dry after being wet, they 're never the same and fall apart rapidly. ) Yours are as soft and durable as they were when I bought them- even after many shoots in the rain.

The Standard weight gloves really keep yours hands nice and warm in the cold. We shot sporting last Sat & Sun in 10-20 degree weather and the gun gloves really feel good and keep you nice and warm to.

      I lived in Germany training for the 1980 Moscow Olympic games. I shot on the US Air Force Olympic Team from 75 to 79 and US Team 76 till 83 for Olympic trap.

     It is so hard to keep the balance of feel for the trigger and warm hands at he same time. I have tried 5 or 6 pairs of different gloves. From Bob Allen to golf gloves with cut off trigger fingers with a pocket warmer in my shooting vest to keep my trigger finger warm after each shot.

     Your gloves work the best of ANYTHING I have ever  tried. Here in Alaska its 25 to 15 below zero degree to shoot. The clay targets are made mush harder than International Targets to handle the cold weather here and their drive up the Alaska Highway.

     You have the best cold weather gloves with FEEL to Shoot. Thanks.

  I have been using the Gun Glove for 6 months now in both summer & standard weight. I have shot Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays for years and have always worn out 2 or 3 pairs of other types of gloves each shooting season.

Our trip to South Dakota to hunt wild pheasant would not have been complete without John's gun gloves. We were looking for gloves that would be both comfortable and functional on a hunt, and these are superior.  I have been shooting trap for many years. I have more gloves than you can imagine. Every brand and every style. Being a lady with smaller hands I have never been able to find a glove that will fit my hand without being too long in the fingers, plus I could never feel the trigger. Therefore I have never been able to shoot in gloves. I purchased a pair of the Standard weight gloves after talking to John. They fit perfectly in the fingers, the width and the length. I shoot an 18 ounce trigger pull so feel is very important. I have no trouble at all feeling the trigger with these gloves. In fact there is nothing I can't do while shooting with these gloves on. I took the ejectors out of the gun and I have no trouble taking the empty hull out of the barrel after shooting or getting a new shell out of the box with the gloves on. They are great and I will be buying a pair of summer weights also. It is so nice to finally have a pair of gloves that I can wear this year to keep my hands warm when I shoot our winter league.  Thanks for a great product.

 These really are the best gloves I have used in over 30 years of competition.  To top it off they are the only ones that are so sensitive to trigger feel that I don't have to cut off the trigger finger on the gloves to feel the trigger. Outstanding gloves that are worth the premium price!

Subject:  Why Use Gloves?

Here are a few reasons to use gloves while shooting shotguns

1. Gloves provide a better grip on the gun. Stocks can be slick with a little oil and a little sweat on your hands.

2. Gloves protect your hands from hot barrels. This is particularly helpful to O/U shooters who grasp the barrels every time they reload their gun. If you shoot an automatic or only shoot when it's below 60 degrees, this may not be a problem.

3. Gloves protect your hands from the sharp checkering on the stock during recoil and when shifting your grip on the gun. This is not a big reason  to select gloves, but it does make some difference, IMO

Was away on vacation and opened up the size 9 medium pair when I got back. Great product!  Fits and Functions just as advertised. Finally got a chance to put them to use last evening, and this pair of gloves is definitely a keeper ------ even the Size 9 is the right size after all.

This is the best glove on the market. I have used the standard weight for a year now during the colder months, and they are still like new. The summer weights are great, I felt comfortable using them at the nationals in Texas, despite the extreme heat. A better feel for the gun with no slippage. I highly recommend these gloves to all shot gunners.

I saw your post about shooting gloves on shotgunsports.com Good luck with the new business, I have found that the only thing wrong with your gloves is that I don't have more then one pair. You know a pair for the shooting vest, a pair for the shooting bag, a pair for the jacket I use in the winter, and a pair for the back of my truck so that I always know where to find my shooting gloves.

Seriously though, if I had more gloves I would never shoot without them, they have proven to be an excellent product. Please let me know when the production gloves are available, so I can purchase a few more pairs.
